As a tool for evaluating the entire training data, Runalyze offers many approaches for analyzing and optimizing one’s own training on the one hand, but also many things that can be used primarily for motivation. This is already the case with the “Tiles Counter” tool, which allows users to hunt for specific tiles along the course of their activities. Behind this, of course, are the exact route data, which we had previously displayed to the users as their own route network (but max. 25 routes). Now we have found a solution to display the entire route network to all (Early) Premium users.

The new tool "Personal Route Map" can be accessed in the list of tools or directly via the navigation in the header.

All your GPS data will be displayed on the map. Since this tool is only visible to you personally, “private zones” or similar are not hidden. The different sports (for which GPS data may be available) can be (de)activated and colored individually. The corresponding selection is saved for later calls of the tool.

Depending on the amount of data, loading and especially rendering can of course take some time. The chosen solution uses preprocessed optimized tile data, as it is also used to display the actual map data of e.g. OpenStreetMap. We prepare this tile data for your account at regular intervals. The last update is displayed at the bottom. While the data for the “Tiles Counter” is updated automatically when called, an update of the route network cannot be triggered from within the tool.
